Foreign Minister of Namibia Utoni Nujoma said Monday that establishment of security and peace in the entire world is the NAM's top priority.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -Speaking to reporters upon arrival in the Imam Khomeini airport to attend the ongoing 16th meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran, Nujoma said the member countries should support the movement in order to preserve the security of the independent states.

The Namibian FM called on the NAM member states to be committed to the movement's principles.

On Iran's key role in the movement, the official said the Islamic Republic has been always effective in assissting the African states to achieve independence.

The two-day NAM expert meeting started work in the Iranian capital on August 26.

The summit meeting, that will last two days, is slated for August 30.
